DTMT is currently seeking suitably qualified HSE Advisors available for FIFO and DIDO roles for projects in regional WA.

Roster: 2:1

As the HSE Advisor your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in training and development of HSE practices
  • Assist in the planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the protective and preventative measures that DTMT are required to follow, and work to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries
  • Implement and monitor site safety and awareness
  • Workplace inspection and system auditing
  • Liaising with Project Management on HSE matters
  • Manage key safety programs and initiatives

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience working in a site based Safety Position in the Construction Industry
  • A minimum of 2 years civil construction experience, favourable
  • Certificate IV in OHS as a minimum however; a Diploma in OHS or higher is preferred.
  • Certificate IV in TAE is preferred.

  • Be self motivated and possess initiative
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational Skills
  • Have a sound knowledge and understanding of OHS and Environmental Legislations, Regulations, Standards and Code of Practice
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Be able to prioritise and multi task
  • Demonstrate the ability to investigate, identify and problem solve effectively
  • Have sound computer and numeracy skills
