**SUPERVISOR - BDS MECHANICAL**

BDS Mechanical has an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor or leading hand looking to progress in their career to join our large privately owned and operated business.

BDS Mechanical Repairs is a growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia, meaning we're never too far away. We are a privately owned business that looks after our staff and value a healthy work life balance.
- Supervisor/Leading hand experience
- Relevant trade qualification
- Must have mining supervisor experience
- Experience on heavy trucks and trailers
- HR license a bonus
- Strong communication skills
- Good people management skills
- Good knowledge of WHS
- Ability to manage all aspects of the business effectively
- Great workshop, mechanical and diagnostic knowledge

**The Job**:

- Coordinate field service mechanics
- Source and order parts when needed
- Help out on the tools when workload required
- Check off time sheets
- Overlook and correct job cards
- Forward on time sheets for pay day to accounts
- Forward on completed job cards for invoicing
- Control A/H breakdowns and roster
