The opportunity for a qualified Production Line Supervisor to join our team has arised, We are seeking a highly motivated Production Line Supervisor to run and oversee the daily production of products being produced in our High Care food production room. This is a hands on role where you will be working with the team to ensure compliance.

Job will be predominately working morning shifts - 6am starts and completing production by 2.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications & experience
- 2+ years of relevant FMCG/Food manufacturing experience at the production Leadership level.
- Knowledge of High care food manufacturing, HACCP and food industry QA requirements essential.
- High attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- A 'can do' positive attitude to achieve successful outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and lead a diverse team.
- Intermediate Computer skills (Word, Excel, JIWA ERP system preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of managing safety and/or quality programs & processes, and managing budgets and delivering on targets.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across all departments, Ability to build and develop teams and individuals.
- Being motivated and always looking for ways to improve procedures and processes, A great attitude towards people and work

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
This is a hands on role and the Tasks & responsibilities you'll be performing are:

- Leading and coordinating production staff to ensure efficient, safe and quality-compliant manufacturing of food products. Plan and manage production to ensure smooth operations within budget targets whilst minimizing waste.
- Monitor and review production staff performance and operational performance and Identify, implement opportunities for improvements in production processes and procedures.
- Provide direction, leadership, support and guidance to your team With support of the GM, take ownership of daily and weekly manufacturing performance to meet site KPIs.
- Maintain a holistic and sensible approach to ensure there is a productive cost focus to deliver against the capital plan i.e. waste reduction, plant excellence, line output increases.
- Drive and support continuous improvement activity throughout the factory, Lead and support the processing & packaging teams.
- Rostering requirements for both site teams, Scheduling of routine maintenance for equipment. Deliver regular toolbox / safety meetings.
- Maintain the cleanliness of machinery and processing area.
- Promote a culture of safety first within the business.
