Job Title: Emergency Response Team Member
We are seeking individuals who share our passion for helping others to join our emergency response team.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in your community by providing critical support during emergencies. As an emergency response team member, you will be part of a larger network of volunteers working together to help those in need.
You will have the flexibility to choose how and when you volunteer, allowing you to balance your commitments with your desire to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage in preparedness, response, and recovery activities to support communities before, during, and after emergencies.
Develop skills to provide psychosocial support, training programs, and community development services.
Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to commit to:
A minimum of 9 hours online learning and practical training in Psychological First Aid.
Mandatory e-learning modules (x10) – duration approximately 9 hours.
BASIC computer literacy.
National Police Check (required).
