**About the position**
Recently awarded best restaurant in a hotel & resort at the 2020 R&CA Savour Awards for Excellence, The Galley Kitchen is our bright and breezy all-day diner. Offering a seasonally changing menu featuring local produce and seafood, home to our signature sparkling wine breakfast, à la carte lunch and dinners and decadent High Teas. Moby's Bar is a celebration of where the land meets the sea. This award winning crew is casting a line out for an enthusiastic and customer focused _Food and Beverage leader to excel in our Restaurant Supervisor position_.

This full time opportunity is responsible for providing our guests with exceptional experiences; essential accountabilities include:

- Set restaurant in line with booking requirements and customer requests
- Break down and cleaning of restaurant
- Assist with rostering requirements and shift coverage
- Provide staff training to new team members and assist with current staff development plans
- Supervise and manage staff on shift
- Resolve customer complaints
- Prepare and serve barista standard coffee
- Provide full fine dining table service
- Prepare and serve beverages; including cocktail and presentation of wine
- Facilitate room service, taking orders and delivery
- Follow RSA government legislation requirements
- Maintain cleanliness front of house areas
- Set up and break down of Function and Events on site
- Oversee and manage daily open and closing procedures

This position will require availability for split shifts for breakfast, lunch and dinner service across a 7 day rotating roster. Our seasonal peaks run through summer, public holiday and school holiday periods, availability during seasonal peaks is essential.

Certifications required: RSA

This role will require you to complete a criminal check prior to your appointment to the position (cost covered by Wests).

**About you**
We are seeking passionate senior Food and Beverage professionals with fine dining experience. Good knowledge of wine or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting will be highly regarded. You will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to retain your high standards in a busy and demanding position. Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff is essential to the success of this position.
