**The Business**:Zacker Pastoral is a family owned and operated mixed farming business located in Tintinara, covering over 7000 acres with 4000 head of self-replacing merino ewes, 150 angus cattle. Lucerne under centre pivot and flood irrigation for hay and seed, plus a small amount of cereal cropping.

The successful applicant will be able to work individually as well in a team, both supervised and unsupervised, oversee the care and maintenance of all livestock, and general farm hand duties ensuring animal welfare and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shearing Duties
- Lamb marking
- Drenching & Vaccinating
- Marking calves
- Cattle AI program
- Fencing duties and maintenance
- Stock rotations
- Maintain low stress environment for stock
- Monitor and maintain field environments
- Weed and pest control
- Reporting and record keeping that is required
- Perform feed manufacture and delivery procedures
- Perform hygiene and housekeeping procedures associated with the primary work area;
- Perform feedlot and environment maintenance procedures.
- Possess understanding of industry QA Programs and all site operating procedure; and carry out workplace OH&S procedures.

Pay: $23.29 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week

**Experience**:
