**The Role**
You will oversee all interstate operations, servicing both the east and west coasts. You will manage a busy team of 22 drivers with 15 trucks. If you are a proactive, self-managed and career-focused Transport professional who has successfully coordinated and expanded an interstate fleet, then we would love to know more about you.

**Reporting to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include**:

- Maintain the Linehaul driver roster.
- Closely collaborate with the Branch Managers and Operations Managers to improve commercial performance.
- On boarding of new Linehaul driver team members.
- Coordinate communications with Linehaul drivers in the event of break downs or other concerns.
- Support driver and workplace safety protocols, with a focus on fatigue management.
- Compliance with Local, State and Federal rules and regulations.
- Preparation of documentation relevant to NHVAS quarterly compliance for Mass, Maintenance and Fatigue.
- Co-ordinate and supervise all trailer dog runner movements between SA and VIC.

- Industry knowledge and proven experience in Linehaul operations
- A broad background in fatigue management, chain of responsibility, dangerous goods, scheduling, and compliance
- A thorough understanding of NHVAS auditing processes
- Confidently partnering with management and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong team leadership skills with motivating and supporting employees in a positive workplace culture.
