We are an Australian owned national transport company that is rapidly growing. With a strong commitment to safety, service excellence, and operational efficiency, we're expanding our national presence and need your experience in linehaul to continue to drive our success.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Linehaul Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at optimising fleet performance and has a proven track record of meeting customer demands.

As a critical team member driving the backbone of our transport operations, you will:

  • Oversee & optimise linehaul operations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient freight movement.
  • Maximise fleet utilisation, improve load planning, and reduce empty running.
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance & safety, adhering to all CoR, fatigue management and NHVR regulations.
  • Effective management & coordination of fleet & equipment servicing and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including customers, depots, and drivers, to enhance service performance.
  • Leverage transport technology & data to enhance operational visibility and efficiency.
  • Manage your team of drivers and subcontractors.
  • Work with our other state linehaul and local freight teams where required to ensure optimal service to our customers.
  • Transport administration duties including the use of transport management system.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in linehaul allocations (national or multi-state level preferred).
  • Experience in bulk freight – road only.
  • Experience in DG freight.
  • Thorough understanding of Australian transport laws, compliance standards, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with load planning, route optimisation, and fleet efficiency strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with transport management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Strong computer skills
