As the Product Owner for Personas, you will take a lead role in understanding the needs and preferences of our diverse customer base, including Family and Solo Travellers. You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of these personas through extensive research and analysis, including user interviews, surveys, and data-driven insights. By leveraging this knowledge, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualising and designing digital products and features that cater to the unique requirements and expectations of Family and Solo Travellers.

For Family Travellers, you will focus on creating digital experiences that prioritise convenience, safety, and family-friendly amenities. This may involve developing user-friendly interfaces for booking family-oriented travel packages, offering personalised recommendations for family-friendly destinations and activities, and providing seamless access to travel-related information crucial for families on the go.

Your main objective will be to maximise the business value of our digital development and experience efforts by defining, designing, and prioritising digital product features and improvements that align with our business priorities while ensuring a world-class customer experience.

The core responsibilities of this role will be:

- Utilise business process analysis and design to define products that cater to our target personas, including Family and Solo Travellers.
- Drive product innovation and design by leveraging user research, user-centred design, and customer-centric principles.
- Conceptualise new online/interactive products and services within the digital arena, specifically tailored to the needs of our diverse customer base.
- Conduct thorough research, including market analysis, customer insights, and product trends, focusing on the preferences of Family and Solo Travellers.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Jetstar Group and Airlines, Qantas, Vendors and Contractors to ensure that all digital products meet the expectations of our target personas.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate effective communication between digital product development teams or vendors and business stakeholders, emphasising the importance of aligning with the needs of Family and Solo Travellers.
- Foster seamless collaboration among teams within the organisation to ensure all tasks and features align with business priorities and the unique requirements of our diverse customer base.
- Regularly report on product and initiative performance, platform adoption rates, and usage trends for both Family and Solo Travellers.
- Work closely with vendors, the Digital Analytics team, and other analytical functions in Commercial to gather insights that will enhance the digital experiences for our target personas.

To be considered, key skills will include:

- 3+ years' of experience in a Product Owner role or similar (e.g., Senior BA/Producer, Channel Manager) in the online/digital space.
- Strong understanding of product management, design, and analysis principles, specifically tailored to the needs of Family and Solo Travellers.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, with a proven track record of working as a product owner, catering to the preferences of diverse customer segments.
- Scrum product owner certification or similar qualifications are highly regarded.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment, fostering collaboration and effective teamwork among cross-functional teams catering to various customer personas.
- Excellent project leadership, risk management, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences, including Family and Solo Travellers.
- Proven interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, critical for understanding and addressing the unique requirements of our diverse customer base.
- Adept at communicating complex ideas clearly to various audiences, tailoring the message to resonate with Family and Solo Travellers.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to multitask effectively under tight deadlines, keeping in mind the importance of timely delivery for our diverse customer segments.
