**Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced front of house retail server. Must have exceptional customer service skills. Barista skills are also preferred. Joining our team at Fiona's Fancies Cake shop in Noosa Junction.

We are seeking an employee for longer term employment

Lovely Small business with current 12 staff that all get along well in a comfortable working environment.

At Fiona's Fancies we create every product in store and make a huge range of cakes, pastries, savoury products and custom orders.

**Hours & Rate of pay**

Monday - Saturday shifts. Days & Hours will vary

Start time - Opening Shift starts 7.30/8am - 2.30pm. Saturday shift 8am-4pm

Times may very slightly as we integrate new staff in.

Must be available Saturdays with the exception of a request off for quality work life balance.

Casual employment - however we are open to a full time position with plenty of benefits for the right person.

Rate of pay - as per age under the correct award + super. Don't hesitate to ask

**Duties and responsibilities**

Turn up to work enthusiastic, motivated, on time, clean, tidy and willing to take direction to get started.

The successful applicant will be able to serve customers with confidence and a friendly attitude

Answer the phone when needed

Take orders for cafe, cakes, catering and complete online orders

Must be able to use iPad with Facebook, Instagram etc

Be able to open / close the shop - following procedures in place

Also some Cleaning duties - relevant to front of shop

**Skills and experience**

Necessary experience needed in customer service - cafe/restaurant

Customer service skills - confidently & calmly talk to customers and be able to help customers place there order for a cake & catering. Be able to up sell complementing products

Excellent communication skills are a must

Coffee making skills are preferred, however we can provide quality training for the right staff member.

**Start date** - We are now conducting interviews
