We currently have several clients in Sunshine and Sydenham/Taylors Hill looking for support workers. Working with school aged children and young adults weekdays after school you will be assisting to develop their skills and independance. This role is ideal for those that are able to work unsupervised whilst following a therapy plan which has been developed by the therapist. At times there will be a need to attend meetings with the Therapist to review the therapy plan as well as the strategies being used.

We would be interested to hear from applicants with any of the following qualifications;
Certificate in Therapy Assistance with experience in Occupational Therapy

Currently completing a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy

Certificate in Individual Support

In order to be successful you MUST have your own reliable fully insured and registered car, a working with children check and police check. Shifts vary from weekdays predominately after school from 2.30pm with some weekend work required at times. These are casual roles with a minimum of 2 hours per shift. You need to be available at least 3 weekdays Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3.00 to 8pm for these roles. There will be extended shifts during school holidays with the requirement to commence earlier in the day so flexibility is required.
