**About Our Client**:
Working with our client, you will work side-by-side with senior leaders and play a pivotal role in ensuring transparency within the Australian Government sector.
- Liaise with Business Managers regarding budgets and forecasts
- Analyse and quality check information against the Actual vs budget allocation
- Prepare month end reports for committees
- Prepare and complete end of month financial processes including processing journals, accruals and internal reporting to groups
- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively manage and guide the junior Finance team members.
- Work collaboratively and have a strong stakeholder focus whilst providing a high level of customer service and training to the Business Groups.

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Strong Financial or management Accounting, or Business Partnering skills
- A strong client focus and a requirement to anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations.
- A high level of organisation with ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Highly developed interpersonal engagement skills

Australian Citizen with Government experience is preferred but not essential
