**The Opportunity - Full Time**

An opportunity has arisen for a Public Relations & Content Specialist to support Greenstone and its wider group of companies on a 12-month maximum term contract.

The PR and Content Specialist assists with the company's public relations and content development/management by publishing content, research whitepapers and other communications assets across our websites. The content is aligned with the content strategy; to support the delivery of business outcomes. The role oversees the day-to-day management of three brands' Kontent.ai blogs (NZ Seniors, Choosi and OneChoice) and manages research and media assets.

The PR and Content Specialist focuses on collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver engaging, timely and relevant content, public relations activities, and communications. These will go out to our customers, potential customers, as well as internal stakeholders.

A passion for creating quality content and research is essential to the role, as well as strong public relations skills.

Key tasks include creating and coordinating proactive media opportunities with our PR agency and contributing to other communications projects on occasion. Proofreading, uploading and managing blog content and ensuring that this aligns with the social media and content strategies.

**What are we looking for?**
- Successful completion of tertiary qualifications (at Diploma or Degree level) in communications / public relations / digital marketing or an equivalent discipline, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through expensive practical experience
- Experience in content management systems (CMS) such as Kontent.ai or WordPress
- Proactive approach to researching, developing, writing and pitching relevant, timely story ideas to media
- Monitoring and collating web and press/media statistics
- Strong understanding of the media landscape
- Organising and implementing assigned public outreach activities including follow-up
- Self-starter who has initiative and can build strong relationships across marketing
- Flexibility to fulfil varying requirements of a small communications and content team
- General knowledge of SEO concepts and digital platforms
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a complex business environment

**Desirable**
- Copywriting and sub editing experience
- Public Relations experience and strong relations with key media
- Comprehensive knowledge or interest in financial services products and services Experience in the management of a multi-brand and multi-product digital marketing strategy
