
Service Scheduler/Planner

Rentokil Initial are looking for an enthusiastic **Service Scheduler/Planner** to join our team in the **Adelaide** branch on a **Permanent** full-time basis.
The purpose of the role is to plan, produce, manage and distribute effective service planning for our Pest Control business to meet the obligations with the customers and ensuring productive visits for the Technicians.
Planning directly influences the service delivery timelines and standards of the business and therefore should be taken with the approach to maximize resources at the lowest possible cost to ensure an exceeded level of customer service.
**Core responsibilities in the role include**:
- Schedule and plan all service requirements by contacting customers on a daily basis, ensuring a productive route/service zone is created for each technician. Call customers to validate requirement for confirmation of the visit.
- Ensure each route is regularly reviewed to capacity; location and sequence are the best fit.
- Ensuring all Service Technicians visits are loaded within set time frames every day.
- Respond to customers/builders enquiries/complaints on service and where required arrange necessary non-standard service calls.
- Provide ongoing reports such as customer service history, specific technician productivity and customer retention.
- Call customers/builder to validate requirements for confirmation of visit.
- Check planning grid for impact against other confirmed visits
- Experience in the logistics environment and on field resource scheduling
- Proven ability to manage all phone conversations, in a fast pace KPI driven environment
- Exceptional typing and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate on all levels
- Previous experience in telephone based support role or call centre is desirable
- Proficient with communicating verbally and electronically
- Able to work calmly under pressure while multitasking.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment to support fellow colleagues.
- Professional, reliable and punctual.
- Accurately enter data into systems.
