Bus transportation is provided to and from West Wyalong at the beginning and end of your shift.This roster is 8 days on 6 days off and a 12 hour day.We understand that flexible work means something different to everyone and encourage you to have a conversation about the flexible work options available.About the RoleThis is a hands-on, field-focused opportunity to join Evolution Mining's Cowal team as a Survey Technician (Open Pit).
Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you'll be part of a well-established and supportive technical services crew that values precision, collaboration, and continuous learning.You'll be trained in Deswik, Agisoft, and drone operations, no prior experience required.

Whether you're coming from a surveying background, civil construction, or even operating machinery with a knack for tech, what matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn.You'll bring:A minimum of 1 year of experience in open pit mining, surveying, or a related technical fieldA manual driver's licence and the physical ability to work in rugged terrainBasic computer skills and an interest in learning Deswik, Agisoft, and drone mappingA collaborative mindset and a desire to contribute to a high-performing teamIf you have practical experience in field-based roles, you'll feel right at home here.ClosingAt Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
