We are currently seeking motivated, qualified, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team.

As a Solar Survey Technician, you will be responsible for conducting site surveys and gathering data to assist in the design and installation of solar panels. It is a great opportunity for those seeking supplemental income, as you provide the times that work for you, and are assigned surveys accordingly.

**Please read the requirements below before applying**:

- Must have driving licence
- **Must have ReOc**:

- Must have access to transportation to make it to survey assignments
- **Must own a drone (IR with RTK is a plus)**:

- **Must be comfortable getting onto a roof and acquiring measurements as needed**

**Responsibilities**
- Capture drone Flight images (minimum of 200 jpg images), including thermal
- Collect Exterior meter images and contextual photos of the site itself as well as photos of the MSP/Breaker Panel and any sub-panels, and attic/truss photos and measurements
- Notes on the Map of the site with a key to locations of above mentioned
- Collect roof measurements and possible condition analysis
- Arrive at assigned sites, on time, in professional attire and your own protective wear
- Maintain your own gear: ladder, drone, measuring tape, flathead screwdriver, and safety vest/hard hat
- Use ladders as needed to enter into attics or access roofs
- Use hand tools to perform cuts into drywall as needed to measure rafters in sealed attics
- Ensure photos of all requested items/locations on given checklist are clear and labels are legible
- Handle basic interactions with homeowners in a polite & professional manner
- Upload deliverables to shared cloud storage in a timely manner
- Use company app for survey checklist and job assignment as well as maintenance of availability for assignments

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Written and verbal communication skills in English
- Construction, handyman, or similar experience is an asset
- Customer service skills (or similar) are an asset
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Mobile phone with internet capability for international communication is needed to upload images on site and contact support
- Consistent access to a mobile phone for communication while performing surveys and on the road
- Must be physically capable of climbing onto roofs, into attics, and up and down stairs as needed
- Solar installation knowledge or experience in the field is an asset
