We are looking for a talented and passionate UX Designer to join the Design Studio within our Digital Foundry team at Computershare.

The Digital Foundry partners with our global businesses to help them design, accelerate and scale their customer experience transformations to deliver leading-edge experiences at scale. We seek to deeply understand human needs and design customer and employee journeys and touchpoints to address them. Every touchpoint is designed and tested as an interaction that we iteratively test and evolve as part of the Customer Driven Innovation Framework.

**A role you will love**

Your role would include, supporting projects and initiatives within the Digital Foundry with strategy and experience design work. This is a hands-on role which will involve conducting primary and secondary research support, assisting with reporting/analytics data driven insights, facilitating, or supporting workshops, contributing to strategic responses, and delivering UX/UI designs. You would do this via sketches, paper prototypes, wireframes, as well as low and high-fidelity prototypes.

You will also be part of building and maintaining the Computershare Design System. That involves liaising with designers and engineers across the business to ensure the components in the Design System are properly added and maintained. This aspect of the role will require confidence in your ability to 'refactor' design components (not developer code) for reuse by designers on future projects.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Communicating design ideas and conduct design reviews with UX team peers, developers, delivery managers, business/product managers and other stakeholders
- Working with stakeholders across our global businesses to surface understand business needs
- Having a foundational and growing understanding of user needs, measures user satisfaction, and determine potential solution effectiveness by interpreting data: Qualitative data (e.g.: may include some of the following feedback from surveys, usability testing, live and/or recorded calls), Quantitative (statistics from A/B tests, web, IVR, call centre, SMS, live chat, and virtual assistant reports)
- Conducting market research to include design trends and competitive analysis
- Creating and updating various Design artifacts such as: User personas, storyboards, and empathy maps; Information Architecture maps; Service Design blueprints
- Figma low and high-fidelity prototypes and building the foundations of and maintaining the Computershare Design System with the input and help from designers, engineers, Brand and Marketing across the global business

**What will you bring to the role?**

You will be an experienced UX Designer demonstrating a good understanding of User Experience best practices and be familiar with human centred design and principles with a data-informed mindset. Previous knowledge of how the wider team works together to successfully create customer-centered user experiences across products, channels, and platforms with an Agile framework (like SCRUM). A supportive team member who will assist other team members and stakeholders through the design phase. You will play a critical role in ensuring you understand the customers needs and come up with strategies by leveraging practices from the voice of customers and analysing qualitative and quantitative data.

**Essential Skills**
- Mid-level professional experience in UX Design
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Experience with Figma - UXPin, Sketch and Adobe XD are also valuable.
- Experience creating adaptive and responsive designs
- Experience with UX/UI design and prototyping tools
- A data analytics mindset combined with attention to detail

**Desired Skills**
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with creative design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud)
- Familiarity with securities and/or banking industries
- Professional copywriting or content writing experience
