**Why You Want to Work Here**

- We are currently in the process of moving to a brand-new showroom and workshop in Springvale to accommodate our next phase of growth. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
- There's an opportunity to capitalise on the current loyal customer base to offer further support and value. Your ideas and innovations will be welcomed, and the founder sees the chance for spare parts to be a profit powerhouse with the right leader and team driving it.

**About You**

Your background in retail means that stock management has been part of your daily routine. What you've enjoyed most about your current role, is being able to lead a team. Whether it is setting up staff members for a successful shift or training a new supervisor, you thrive in any leadership situation.

What you've also thrived in is the fast-paced rhythm of managing stock and getting stuck into the data of what needs replacing, what's not moving, and what to do about it. You're someone whose stocktake is always spot-on, which is backed up by your ability to identify any inventory issues before they arise.

What you're looking for in your next role, is the opportunity to step outside of retail and take ownership of various departments such as procurement, inventory and purchasing. You may have experience sourcing spare parts or technical products and are looking to hone in on these skills.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll add significant value through:

- The purpose of this role is to manage and execute profitable spare parts sales and create an excellent customer experience within the department, working alongside sales and service divisions.
- You'll monitor and manage spare parts inventory closely to ensure the correct parts are ordered in a timely fashion and slow-moving stock is strategically shifted accordingly.
- Manage logistics for spare parts by planning the most efficient method and planning booking of freight to ensure timely and safe arrival, balancing the business's bottom line with customer expectations.
- Manage spare parts procurement by conducting analysis and reporting on key metrics such as sales, customer feedback, stock, and suppliers to establish the right min-max levels.
- Lead and manage the Spare Parts team through mentoring and coaching direct reports, creating clear expectations of performance, managing team daily requirements, identifying performance issues to resolve promptly, and training any knowledge gaps.

**Selection Criteria**

***
We're looking for the right person to be part of our business for the long term, so we're flexible on your experience. However, we'd love you to bring:

- Experience in stock management
- Experience in leadership
