In Australia, we support customers across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands, collaborating closely with our dealer network and OEM partners — and now also managing service and support for selected Daimler Truck Off-Highway engines.

We are seeking a motivated Spare Parts Interpreter to join our Melbourne-based team. You will play a key role in identifying, sourcing, and supplying spare parts to our customer network, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

· Accurately interpret spare parts requirements for customers and internal teams.

· Handle enquiries via phone and email with a strong customer focus.

· Process orders, procurement, receipting, and invoicing.

· Use electronic parts catalogues, ERP system, and other software tools effectively.

· Collaborate with local and global DEUTZ colleagues.

· Assist with warehouse tasks and aftersales growth.

· Stay informed on DEUTZ and Daimler spare parts updates.

About You

· Minimum 2 years automotive spare parts experience or relevant mechanical qualification

· Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional phone manner.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).

· Valid Australia full driver's licence.

· Highly organised, meticulous, and able to work both independently and in a team.

· Willingness to continuously learn and stay up to date with product knowledge.

· SAP ERP experience preferred but not essential
