**What's the role?**

The Executive Manager, Target Sectors role oversees credit risk for key commercial portfolios where Westpac has developed industry policies for sectors we understand well, including Health, Education, Franchisors, Hospitality and Professional Services. They also are the primary lead for, ensuring compliance with current or potential legislative changes in these sectors, regulatory standards and internal frameworks.

The role leads credit decisioning, sets risk appetite, and drives consistency across Westpac. It also focuses on enhancing credit policies, controls, and operational risk effectiveness, while fostering stakeholder collaboration, employee engagement, and a strong risk culture aligned with business strategy.

**What do I need?**
- 15+ years of experience in credit decisioning with an emphasis on cashflow lending or similar risk roles.
- An ability to think and act commercially, strategically, strong negotiation skills and experience in commercial or corporate banking.
- Additionally, you will demonstrate strong leadership and people management, ability to influence others to drive results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for customer-focused, data-driven insights will set you apart.
