**About the role**
This exciting role is focused on driving, leading and maintaining our trades supplier network within BGC Housing Group, including sub-contractors and apprentices, ensuring our pipeline of suppliers is managed, retained and developed in line with BGC standards with the support of a Building Services Administrator.

As the Trade Manager you will be critical in identifying trades and fostering these relationships to ensure effective servicing of the business needs. Proactiveness and agility to respond to opportunity is the key to success in this role. Working closely with the marketing team in developing and delivering advertising and communication strategy to recruit, grow and source trade suppliers.

**About you**
You will be a results driven individual with previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role you will also posses the following
- Residential building industry knowledge
- Strong commercial mindset
- Good knowledge of suppliers within the construction industry
- Knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system and training pathways
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build key business relationships
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Commitment to working safely and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others
- Current drivers' licence; we'll provide the vehicle for you to meet with your networks
