Neutral Bay School of Dance in Sydney is hiring

We are seeking an energetic Studio Assistant/Administrator to assist with our vibrant dance classes and day-to-day operations.

Training is provided.

**Location**: Neutral Bay School of Dance, corner Lindsay and Bydown Sts, Neutral Bay

**Hours**:Monday & Friday: 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Possibility of adding Thursday)

**Rate of Pay**: $30 to $35 per hour inc super

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:
**Dance Duties**:

- Assisting the teacher during classes with large enrolments
- Assisting during performances & special events
- Depending on applicant's skills, possibility providing cover teaching when needed (styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Technique, Hip Hop)

Administrative Duties:

- Welcoming and assisting new students, parents / guardians
- Managing leads and trial conversions
- Client account management using online software Dance Studio Pro
- Organizing stock, merchandise, and class equipment
- Assisting with performance preparation, depending on skills this could include; costume selection, fitting, and packing. Music editing and creating playlists. Sourcing digital backgrounds. Assisting with dressing room allocation and ticketing enquiries.
- Assisting with newsletter creation (designed on Canva)
- Capturing social media photos for our content creator
- Contributing ideas and assistance for in-studio events
- Ensuring the presentation and safety of the dance space before each day commences
- Overseeing the walking school pick-up from Neutral Bay Public School between 3 to 3:30 pm
- Holding current First Aid certification (NBD will provide training)
- Holding a current WWCC

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
