Studio Assistant Role

Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a reliable Studio Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality dance classes and events.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance, customer service, and administration. You will be responsible for assisting teachers during classes, managing leads and client accounts, and organizing stock and class equipment.

We offer a casual position with a minimum of 10 hours per week available. Afternoon shifts are preferred, but some flexibility may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers during classes with large enrolments
  • Assist during performances and special events
  • Provide cover teaching when needed (styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Technique, Hip Hop)
  • Welcome and assist new students, parents/guardians
  • Manage leads and trial conversions
  • Client account management using online software
  • Organize stock, merchandise, and class equipment
  • Assist with performance preparation
  • Ensure presentation and safety of the dance space before each day commences
