This fixed-term, part-time role offers a unique opportunity to influence payroll operations, provide expert guidance, and support continuous improvement across a diverse and dynamic school network.The PositionTitle: Payroll AdvisorClassification: CEO Administration Level 5 (CEMEA 2022)Salary per year:$80,119.20FTE / Hours per fortnight:0.8 FTE / 60.8 hours per fortnightEmployment Status: Fixed Term (until October 2026)Location: BendigoOther Requirements: WWCC, National Police CheckAbout the RoleAs a Payroll Advisor, you'll be a vital part of our payroll function, delivering expert advice, training and operational support.
You'll work closely with our Payroll Manager and team to:Provide day-to-day payroll guidance and supportDeliver engaging training, workshops, and professional development sessionsInterpret and communicate payroll-related legislative and industrial instrument changesAssist with payroll processing, including employment contract and pay calculationsSupport payroll improvement initiatives and governance framework implementationContribute to ongoing payroll risk management and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking a proactive team player with strong technical payroll knowledge and a knack for translating complex legislation into clear, practical guidance.
