Job Title: HR Coordinator

This is a challenging role in HR, where you'll provide essential support to schools.

  • Classification: CEO Administration Level 4
  • FTE / Hours per fortnight: 1 FTE / 76 hours per fortnight
  • Employment Status: Ongoing
  • Location: Bendigo Region

About the Position

In this key role, you'll play a vital part in preparing and managing employment contracts and variation letters for both new and existing staff. You'll act as a first point of contact for general HR enquiries, providing clear and accurate advice on policies, processes, legislation, and enterprise agreements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing employment contracts and related correspondence for staff appointments and changes
  • Responding to HR enquiries with accurate and timely information
  • Interpreting policies, legislation, and enterprise agreements related to employment conditions
  • Supporting schools with onboarding processes, compliance checks and pre-payroll requirements
  • Ensuring employment documentation is accurate, compliant, and payroll-ready
  • Providing training and support to school staff in employment contract and variation contract generation
Requirements

  • Previous experience in a HR coordination or administration role
  • Strong working knowledge of employment contracts, policies, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, supportive advice
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and service delivery
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management
