**What the opportunity involves**:
We seek an experienced Technical Facilities Manager with some knowledge in HVAC systems to join our team. You would be working alongside the Workplace Lead on responsibilities of overseeing the operation and maintenance of all equipment and engineering facilities.
**A snapshot of the role**:
HVAC systems throughout our tenancies, server rooms, UPS rooms and data centres, as well as integration with base building HVAC systems.
Management of power systems, UPS and integration with base building generators, and general electrical.
Major works owner (power down planning, execution and new/refurbishment project management)
Vendor management and monitoring outsourced critical works to ensure equipment is maintained at a high standard
An understanding of Change Management in a corporate CEM setting.
Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations, established processes, tools and documentation.
Contract management of critical equipment contracts
Capacity and utilization coordination, reviews and reporting for office tenancy, Data Centre and server rooms
Engineering regulatory compliance management for the portfolio of buildings, along with compliance with client-stipulated Engineering Playbooks
Support and assist with any installation, commissioning and programming of new office space to ensure plans, designs, scopes and goals are accurate
Technical reporting submissions for portfolio objectives, regular meetings and data centre performance
Identify energy-saving initiatives and work through implementation and validation.
Review of all maintenance reports to ensure maintenance is conducted appropriately and performance issues are actioned
**Sound like you? This is what we're looking for**:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field.
Thorough understanding of building services design and engineering management
HVAC technical knowledge
Ability to identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency/improvements and implement agreed solutions
Drive innovation / thought leadership/industry knowledge
Excellent presentation skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and explain complex operational management information to senior audiences
