**Job Summary**

Martinus are seeking an experienced technical Bid Writer to assist our submissions team in the preparation and development of written content for bids and submissions.

**Jobs Responsibilities**- Work closely with the bid team to create key messages that articulates value propositions and win themes, including writing executive summaries.- Produce high-quality documents and ensure bid content meets client/bid specifications.- Check and edit drafts for readability, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and formatting in accordance with the company writing and style guides.- Re-write/edit content from SMEs to ensure tone, key messages and win themes are consistent and present throughout.- Update the knowledge bank/bid library for future use.- Work with Graphic Designer to create compelling graphics that 'cut through' and articulate the proposition.- Complete client questionnaires and compliance documents as required.**Skill Requirements**
- 3+ years of experience as Bid / Submissions / Technical Writer
- A tertiary qualification in journalism, business or engineering with a background in technical writing
- An understanding of the rail construction industry- Advanced knowledge of Office 365 (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).- High level of attention to detail with written content- Excellent time management and organisation- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of people
