**Position Information**:
Granville East Public School is a dynamic, community school with 275 students - 98% from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our main language group is Arabic although we represent over 24 different linguistic groups.

Our teachers work in close stage teams, using research, data and collaborative practice to improve teaching and learning. Our signature pedagogies include Learning Centres & Problem-based Inquiry (play-based K-2, problem-based 3-6); Guided Reading and Writing K-6 (explicit teaching); and student leadership of Learning Conversations (as part of our 3-way reporting).

Our school ethos is about building student agency and our Positive Behaviour for Learning focus uses a trauma-informed approach to developing confident, self-regulated students.

**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach K-6 with qualifications and experience in Learning and Support Primary to meet diverse learning needs.

Proven capacity to enable learners with additional needs to access the curriculum and thrive in mainstream classroom settings.

Understanding of a trauma-informed approach to behaviour and learning.

Proven capacity to use initiative, collaborate and take direction to ensure learning and support services to a whole school community.
