Position Overview
The Supportability Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for the planning and leading a team for execution of IPS elements during system design, production and deployment of Hanwha Defence Australia Land Programme with tasks ranging from beginning of the Acquisition contract and will last through to end of Acquisition Contract phase/s
Responsibilities
Acts as the main contact for Supportability Engineering, coordinating with customers, project functions, and subcontractors.
Works closely with Mission System design/engineering and Project Management to meet supportability goals.
Defines Supportability Engineering System Requirements based on various plans and specifications, guiding the IRMTP to achieve RAM objectives and combat readiness.
Aligns with Hanwha Defence Australia\'s Support System/Sustainment Strategy for the Australian market.
Directs LSA requirements for planning Operating and Support capabilities, considering new constructions and modifications.
Manages Supportability Engineering across the project, covering RAM, standardization, interoperability, risk and safety, privacy, and legal requirements.
Supervises or advises on RAM Analysis, including Reliability Block Diagrams, RAM Prediction, FMECA, and RCM Analysis.
Guides LSA and recording activities, including LORA, task analysis, and spares provisioning.
Coordinates between Design Engineering and other project parties.
Oversees the development and maintenance of the System Life Cycle Cost Model (LCCM) as per the Life Cycle Management Plan (LCCMP).
Supervise Systems Engineering input for Configuration Management Baseline and Engineering Change activities, optimizing supportability and participating in Engineering Change Review Boards.

Mandatory Qualifications
Relevant IPS qualifications combined with extensive experience
Tertiary qualifications in Supportability Engineering, Reliability Engineering or similar
Experience
Extensive experience leading IPS or Supportability Engineering activities for in Large Projects or Fleet/s Management and/or integration.
Experience with Logistical computer resources tools such as PLM's, LSAR's and RAM Modelling
Sound knowledge of Supportability Engineering standards including DEF AUST 5691 and 5692, MIL STDs 1529, 2173 and 1390D, MIL HDBK 338B, S3000L and S4000M
Skills & Key Attributes

Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
Flexible and adaptability, as you\'ll be expected to quickly pivot and respond to changing priorities and dynamic work environments.
Skilled in supporting design reviews, V&V programs, test planning, conduct, and reporting.
Must be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
