**The Opportunity**

Our Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) International team is an integral part of the global Boeing network providing support to our UK, Korea and Turkey AEW&C customers. We provide a broad range of acquisition project and sustainment services including systems engineering, mission systems development, ground systems development, aircraft modification support, product support and training.

In support of our growing team supporting the UK Wedgetail AEW Mk1 program, we are now seeking Ground Support Segment (GSS) Laboratory Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.

This role can be based in Williamtown or Brisbane.

**Responsibilities**

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.
- Serves as liaison between the IPT and the broader UK Wedgetail AEW Mk1 team, including finance, planning, scheduling and line management.
- Participates in or develops mechanisms for establishing, monitoring and integrating project elements, product configuration and communications concerning change management processes and decisions.

**Experience/Qualifications**

You are a leader who will bring programmatic, technical and organisational skills, effective communication and able to build strong relationship to support our UK Wedgetail AEW Mk 1 program. You are someone who is comfortable working in a distributed team environment collaboratively as part of a wider community to deliver project outcomes.
- Knowledge of project planning principles and techniques to achieve desired outcomes on budget and on plan.
- Ability to define, design and plan projects, achieve project deliverables, and optimize the contributions of internal and external resources.
- Ability to support, lead, and delegate the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle.
- Knowledge and understanding of the methodology and processes associated with risk management (including Technology Readiness Assessments), opportunity management, and issues management.
- A proven ability to develop positive, effective stakeholder relationships in a highly matrixed environment.
- Ability to support, lead, and delegate the project team's responsibilities and tasks through all stages of the project life cycle.

Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security requirements and will be expected to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
