Job Opportunity: Laboratory Manager

The Role:

As a hands-on leader, you'll oversee a team of soil and concrete technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time while maintaining NATA standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring your team across lab and field testing
  • Managing project timelines and client expectations
  • Performing and reviewing complex soil testing
  • Upholding NATA compliance and safety standards
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Driving operational and technical improvements

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' experience with excellent people skills
  • Previous lab management or CMT experience
  • Commercial and client-facing experience (ideal)
  • NATA Signatory experience highly regarded
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Standards
  • Nuclear Density Gauge license (essential)
  • Current driver's license
  • A mentor's mindset – able to support junior and senior techs alike
