What's the role?

This role is critical to the development of strategy and strategic initiatives across the Westpac Group. Group Strategy Consultants are expected to apply structured problem solving and sophisticated analysis to draw conclusions across a range of business issues across the Group. Consultants will regularly be required to design and execute detailed analysis and modelling, draw and present conclusions to support critical decision making of senior executives. They will work with Senior Managers and Directors in Group Strategy to understand the issues, develop and evaluate strategic options to topical issues and create compelling cases for change.

What do I need?
  • Tertiary degree required with strong academic record
  • Experience in a Top Tier management consulting firm
  • Financial services expertise preferred but not mandatory
  • Strategic thinking skills, defined as the ability to creatively approach and structure complex, potentially unfamiliar issues
  • Exceptional analysis skills, complex business modelling skills (preferred)
  • Exceptional communication skills
