**About The Position**

We are seeking an experienced health & safety Advisor to role model and drive a positive safety culture across our business. Reporting to the Superintendent Project Safety, you will coordinate, facilitate, and advise on the health & safety requirements for the Corporation.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Support the development and implementation of the health and safety strategic plan.
- Provide health & safety advice, support and coaching to the leadership team, employees, and contractors, specifically in risk assessment and incident investigations.
- Coordinate and prepare statistical analysis of health & safety information for improvement opportunities, reporting and presentations.
- Maintain the HSE database for HSE related events, including incidents, hazards and actions.
- Ensure legislative requirements under the Work Health and Safety legislation are being met.
- Conduct safety observations all areas, including spot checks on contractor compliance.
- Assist with site health and hygiene monitoring.
- Assist in maintaining health & safety equipment, records, and noticeboards.
- Assist with injury management.
- Assist with health and safety related training.

**About You**:

- Tertiary education in Occupational Health and Safety (min Cert IV in OSH).
- ICAM incident investigation training highly regarded
- Experience in safety management software
- Experience in collating and analysing health and safety data
