Support Worker – Werribee
Make a meaningful impact while supporting independence, growth, and wellbeing.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team in Werribee, supporting a young client living with ASD, ADHD and mild Intellectual Disability. This role requires someone who is caring, resilient, and confident in supporting behaviours of concern.
This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in someone's life while enjoying fun and active hobbies like exercise, yoga, swimming, dancing, and music alongside the client.
What you'll be doing:
Providing 1:1 constant supervision to ensure safety and wellbeing
Supporting with medication assistance and daily routines
Implementing and following behaviour support strategies
Encouraging participation in activities like yoga, exercise, swimming, music, and dance
Assisting with community access, including transport to family visits and Saturday group activities
Offering positive, consistent support to build skills, independence, and trust
Shifts
Morning shift
: 6:00 am – 9:30 am
Afternoon shift
: 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Sleepover
: 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm (sleepover)
Required availability
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Sleepovers: 2–3 nights per week
Weekend support for group activities/family visits
What we're looking for
Experience in Behaviour Support
Background supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and mild Intellectual Disability
Trained in medication assistance
Understanding of mental health support
Confidence in working with young clients
Your Certificates and Licences
NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current)
Working with Children Check (Current)
Australian Driver's License
Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle
NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
First Aid and CPR (Current)
Pay Rates
E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
Base hourly rate: $35.15
Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67
Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37
Saturday: $49.21
Sunday: $63.27
Public holiday: $77.33
