We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) to support remote marine operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a professional and high-performing team committed to health, safety, and emergency readiness.About the role:Will be responsible for leading and coordinating onsite emergency response efforts, ensuring compliance with all legal and statutory obligations, and maintaining a high standard of medical readiness and preparedness.Oversee the site's medical treatment facility, provide frontline medical care, and play a key role in emergency planning and response.
This position also involves maintaining emergency equipment, conducting AOD (Alcohol and Other Drug) testing, and delivering clear, concise reporting.Attractive salary packageFIFO from Perth | 8:6 RosterOpportunity for the position to become permanent with the completion of two successful swingsKey Responsibilities:Lead onsite emergency response coordination and medical careEnsure legal and statutory compliance of operationsMaintain and manage the site's medical treatment facilityProvide first response medical treatment as requiredConduct AOD (Alcohol & Other Drug) testing onsiteMaintain readiness and ensure equipment is kept to the highest standardsDevelop and submit reports as necessaryChampion emergency preparedness and safety protocolsRequired Qualifications & Experience:Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (Essential)Certificate IV in Health Care (Minimum)HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (Essential)Current CPR & First Aid certificationConfined Space Rescue TrainingNational Police Clearance (within 6 months) (Essential)Proven experience working on remote sitesAbility to work autonomously in high-pressure environmentsReady to Answer the Call?
