Reporting to the VP Cochlear Implant Product Portfolio, the IBP leader supports, guides and influences our senior leadership teams through the global Integrated Business Planning process, using their functional, business, relationship and technical knowledge to deliver improved business plans. Critical to your success will be your ability to optimise imbedded practices, processes, and reporting. Driving ownership and ensuring issues are raised / resolved and the planning process itself evolves in line with business needs.

In addition, this role assumes full responsibility for the strategic management of the Product Lifecycle management, driving the Product Management Review (PMR) process, Launch Readiness and End of Product Life planning.

Key responsibilities will include
- Implement necessary metrics, scorecards and KPI's to ensure success tracking for each IBP review step, including process measures and output measures.
- Regularly engage with the Review Chairperson and Coordinators, process champions and leaders to ensure compliance with best-in class process execution, coaching stakeholders around recommended corrective actions, improvement plans and guidance.
- Establish and participate in Region Collaborative Networks and Global Collaborative networks to share and learn best practices
- Engage key stakeholders to develop a vision for the future state of IBP at Cochlear and develop a plan to achieve this future state
- Identify the process, tool, system and skill changes required (gap analysis) to develop a change plan which will support individuals and teams with communications, coaching and training.
- Champion and optimise Product Management Review (PMR) within the Integrated Business Planning process to engage Cochlear's internal stakeholders to promote transparency, alignment and understanding of the financial objectives of the Portfolio
- Support Global Marketing with 'launch readiness' ensuring Product Managers, functional leads and resource owners have clear visibility of the launch work packages, driving collaboration and agility, escalating constraints and issues to a management forum capable of reconciling solutions to maintain product launch objectives.

About You
- Degree in Business or Commerce with qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Supply Chain Management, Finance or Engineering
- Proven experience in delivering business outcomes and commercial results
- Highly developed business and commercial acumen, able to lead via Influence
- Ability to laterally problem solve, think critically in complex situations and thrive in an environment full of ambiguity
- Experienced in presenting to senior decision makers and comfortable engaging with senior executive teams
- Proven ability to identify, implement and commercialise planning process improvement
- Proven ability to drive commercial business outcomes and manage complex, matrixed relationships, promoting collaboration
- Proven ability to think and plan strategically over a multi-year horizon, providing thought leadership into long-term business planning
- Project and change management, focusing on operational readiness
- Advanced knowledge and skills in MS Office in particular highly developed skills in excel and PowerPoint presentations
