Our client, a longstanding mutual financial institution, is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll on a bi-weekly/monthly basis
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Process payroll adjustments, deductions, and other changes as needed
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required using Excel
- Address employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance
- Work closely with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processes
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an end to end payroll position
- Proficiency in Sage Micropay is essential
- Advanced Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros and complex formulas)
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
