**Role**
Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent listening and typing skills? We are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Medical Audio Transcriptionist to join our esteemed orthopaedic practice on a part time basis (2-3 days a week). As a transcriptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely transcription of medical dictations, contributing to the smooth operation of our practice. Please note this is an on site position only.

**Our Practice**
We are a well respected orthopaedic surgical group in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. You will join our established team, who will support you in this role as you work together to provide a high standard of care for our patients.

You will be providing medical audio typing for the surgeons in the practice including general correspondence, operation reports, medical reports and medicolegal reports.

**Essential skills and experience**
- Previous experience using Medical Practice Software (Gentu/Genie desirable)
- Flexible in your approach to work, with a high standard of communication
- Well-developed time management skills and ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure - ensuring following through on all tasks
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage within a busy workplace setting with fluctuating levels of demand
- Previous medical audio dictation experience
- Previous use of Mac computers
- Previous experience with DSS player
- Good organisational skills
- Receptionist skills desired
