**About the role**:
We are seeking a
**Medical Transcriptionist **for a
**part-time position, 15 hours per week, Monday **and
**Tuesday.** Upon commencement you will receive a dedicated training program that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality care to our patients at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately transcribe medical reports, consultation letters and other healthcare related information.
- Maintain up to date patient records
- Organise and manage patient appointments for independent medical exams and pre-employment medicals
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Occupational Physician to ensure production and distribution of accurate and timely documentation.
- Perform other general administrative duties as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to privacy regulations

**About you**:

- Audio transcription experience or excellent touch-typing skills.
- Proven experience as a medical typist, medical secretary or similar role described.
- Proficiency in typing with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical transcription software desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a health care environment.
