The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced, full-timeEstimatorto join our team.
If you have a background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, and ideally experience in the electrical, generator, or rental industries, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quotes for standby generator maintenance, as identified by field service teams.
Generate quotes for new and updated maintenance agreements.
Provide quotes for generator rentals.
Quote generator set control system upgrades.
Collaborate directly with our Managing Director, along with the service, project scheduling, accounts, and service management teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
Support site visits and prepare quotes based on specifications and drawings.
Handle urgent repair quotes when needed.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
A positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to contribute to the team.
At least 2-3 years of experience in estimating.
Familiarity with generator systems or a solid understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Experience with estimation or scheduling software (preferably Aroflo, Xero, or similar).
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both clients and team members in a professional, friendly manner.
A natural problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
