This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 4, 2025.

The Role
We are seeking a keen and innovative applicant who has a strong grasp of the Western Australian Curriculum. We provide opportunities for students through our mainstream and Pathfinder (academic extension) programs, small group tuition, and English courses in General and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) studies. If you are passionate about teaching English at the secondary level, this position is for you.
As a member of our English team, you will be an enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated teacher committed to developing and extending students' literacy, creativity, and critical thinking skills. With a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, you will be part of a team who work diligently to cater for the diverse needs of students and who work collaboratively in support of one another and our school community. Ideally, you will engage with the school and broader community, demonstrate high levels of reflective practice, and apply evidence-based strategies and differentiated teaching methods.
Responsibilities
Plan, teach and deliver engaging lessons to classes in both Lower and Senior School.
Create and design face-to-face lessons with clear learning objectives and outcomes.
Use existing learning materials and develop your own as required.
Document and maintain assessment results in accordance with policies and procedures.
Evaluate and monitor student learning and course progress.
Play a role in student consultations, assessment grading and moderation.
Create an interactive and positive learning environment for students.
