Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver engaging and relevant secondary school English curriculum, ideally with experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank ATAR English courses.

About the Role

The role involves supporting the implementation of our college's Business Plan, being committed to whole college approaches and initiatives, and having a strong evidence-based approach to teaching. You will be responsible for adopting inclusive practices, differentiating the curriculum, and building positive relationships with students, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students in years 7-12
  • Develop and implement engaging and relevant English curriculum
  • Support the implementation of the college's Business Plan
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in education or a related field
  • Eligible teacher qualification and registration
  • Experience teaching English to secondary school students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
