To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a **Groundwater Agreement Advisor** to join our team.

**The Role**:Reporting to the** **Team Lead Groundwater Agreements, **the purpose of the role is to plan, implement and ensure compliance with Arrow's make good strategy and make good obligations to ensure Arrow meets its statutory obligations for managing impacts to landholder bores as a result of CSG extraction.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition, you will**:

- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety, and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Maintain the records management system to ensure Arrow tracks and demonstrates compliance with the make good obligations in Chapter 3 of the Water Act 2000.
- Draft Make Good Agreements in accordance with legislative requirements and Arrow's Make Good Strategy.
- Negotiate Make Good Agreements with Landholders or their legal representation in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Water Act 2000, Arrow's Make Good Strategy and other legislative requirements.
- Coordinate the timing and delivery of bore assessments reports to Landholders and key terms to ensure Arrow meets statutory timeframes as prescribed under the Water Act 2000.
- Track executed Make Good Agreements and deviations from template agreements, delivery of make good payments and reimbursements under make good agreements through entering records into Dynamics and other systems (e.g. clause bank).

**About You**

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:

- Graduate degree in relevant discipline. A Law degree will be highly regarded.
- Safety management systems.
- Safe Systems of Work.
- Quality control procedures and implementation.
- Experience managing work schedules to deliver outcomes on time.
- Experience conducting negotiations with Landholders and lawyers and experience negotiating and drafting bespoke clauses in agreements is desirable.
- LEAN improvement methodologies.
- EP Act, Water Act, Petroleum & Gas Act knowledge
