This role involves assessing development and subdivision applications, scheme amendments, Structure Plans, and Local Development Plans.
You'll prepare reports for Council and JDAP, attend meetings with key stakeholders, and provide clear, professional advice to agencies, developers, the public, and internal teams—all while delivering outstanding customer service.What we are looking forTo be successful, you will possess:Knowledge of land use planning and development control, including relevant legislation, practices and trendsStrong organisational and customer service skillsStrong written communication skillsAn ability to establish and maintain position working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated experience in a similar role is an advantage.The ideal candidate will have progression towards an Urban Planning degree or similar tertiary qualification.Essential requirementsCurrent and valid driver's licenceCurrent National Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.In return we can offer youA competitive salary and additional superannuation contributionsOpportunities to grow your skills and careerA supportive and forward-thinking work environment where your contributions shape the community's future.Ready to apply?
