Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter and Turner looking to join a dynamic and growing manufacturing business? Our client, a leading manufacturer of quality building products, is currently seeking a motivated and experienced tradesperson to join our Maintenance Team at our Richlands facility.

About the Role As a Maintenance Fitter and Turner, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving plant equipment and machinery to minimise downtime and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of machinery and plant equipment.
  • Diagnose faults, repair or replace worn mechanical components.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with WHS policies and procedures.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner / Mechanical Fitter.
  • Experience with rollform machines highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Forklift license and confined space entry (desirable but not essential).
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
