Your next opportunityWe have a great opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and committed Driver to join our Boral Asphalt team in Victoria.This role involves delivering bitumen products safely and efficiently to asphalt plants across Metro Melbourne and supporting road spray teams in regional Victoria.This position offers a unique lifestyle where you can live and work out of the truck during the asphalt spray season and return home each night during the off-peak season.
Your daily tasks will include loading and unloading bitumen, collaborating with our Spray team in Regional Victoria, and performing minor fault finding and maintenance on the truck if needed.Your day will involveOperating heavy vehicle combinations (primarily a B-Double) transporting dangerous goodsPromoting a positive public image of Boral and interacting with internal & external customers professionally and courteouslyMaintaining the company truck and reporting faults to managementBringing the truck in for daily loading at Dandenong, Geelong, and Laverton plantsComplying with Boral OH&S policies and ensuring safety and environmental standards are metWhat we are looking forA dedicated and committed driver with experience transporting Dangerous Goods, ideally bitumen or other DG liquidsA strong commitment to safety and environmental standards with a focus on customer serviceHC or MC drivers' license with a Dangerous Goods license (desirable but not essential)Experience in tanker operation and handling of bituminous products (desirable)A good understanding of Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) is advantageousA team player who can work well independentlyAbility to work flexible hours to meet operational needsWhat's On Offer?
