Overview
Process Consultant for the Fish Division at Marel. The preferred location is Sydney. The role involves auditing the customer's production process of our Fish Solutions and contributing to the installation of our solutions to ensure work is carried out according to Marel specifications, project plan and customer satisfaction.
What You0ll Be Doing
Audit the customers production process to identify disturbances, bottlenecks and potential risks, and help the customer optimize their production process for profit opportunities
Report recommendations for increasing performance and/or process stability
Provide optional implementation/action plan on the recommendations, as well as testing and monitoring of the process changes
Identify service and sales opportunities from the technical perspective and propose optimal maintenance, upgrades and/or replacement solutions to the Customer Care network
Spot training opportunities and conduct training sessions for both Field Service/Technical Support Engineers and customers
Take ownership of all process consultancy related work orders and escalations
Support in sales-related and innovation modification activities
Perform Field Service work (SLA/PMS/Performance and Break-fixes) when required
Provide support to complex technical issues internally and to customers
Maintain advanced technical knowledge within the field of expertise
Provide technical remote support to first line support and engineers
Frequent travel to customers

Extensive technical knowledge in Marel fish processing equipment portfolio
In-depth product application and process knowledge
Good entrepreneurial mindset and ability to translate technical information into usable commercial information
Excellent communication skills
Structured way of working, documenting progress
Ability to execute agreed tasks and deadlines against performance criteria (KPI)
Knowledge of principles and processes for delivering high quality field service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction
