**About St. Paul's Lutheran OSHC**: St. Paul's Lutheran Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program in Caboolture is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children outside of regular school hours. **Position Overview**: St. Paul's Lutheran OSHC is seeking an experienced **Assistant Service Leader** to join our team.

**This position is permanent part time 30-35 hours per week.**

The Assistant Service Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the coordination and management of our OSHC program, with a focus on safety, quality care, and excellent leadership.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and implementing a diverse range of engaging activities and experiences for children
- Supervise and interact with children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Provide leadership and guidance to OSHC Educators
- Assist in administrative tasks, including record-keeping and documentation
- Collaborate with the OSHC Service Leader to ensure compliance and excellence in all areas of the Service
- Foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and the local community
- Contribute to program development, including curriculum planning and assessment
- Maintain a safe and clean OSHC environment
- Act as the Responsible Person of the Service during Service Operation

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-year qualification in Education, Early Childhood, or a related field
- Valid Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Previous OSHC experience, with management experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Dedication to creating a safe and inclusive environment for children

**Working Hours**: This position is part-time, requiring approximately 30-35 hours of work per week. The schedule includes split shifts and availability Monday - Friday.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
