Senior Mental Health Nurse Role
Clinical nurse specialists play a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence, innovation and positive patient outcomes within mental health settings.
This senior leadership position is focused on advancing mental health nursing practice, providing strategic support to management teams and championing practice improvement.
The successful candidate will lead the delivery of exceptional clinical services, advance clinical competence and promote best practices within mental health nursing.
They will supervise, guide and coach registered nurses, enrolled nurses, graduates and other multidisciplinary team members to achieve outstanding results.
A key aspect of this role is developing and delivering training and education, as well as supporting patients and their families in achieving optimal health outcomes.
The clinical nurse specialist will work within recovery models of care, trauma-informed care frameworks and customer service approaches to deliver holistic patient care.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to drive growth and development within mental health services.
The ideal candidate will establish professional working relationships with multidisciplinary team members and key stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount in this role, ensuring the well-being of staff and patients alike.
Key Requirements
Registered with AHPRA
Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
