**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspire and educate students in the art and science of food preparation.
- Foster an understanding of nutrition, sustainability, and the cultural significance of food.
- Create engaging and practical lessons that develop culinary skills and appreciation for diverse cuisines.
- Incorporate Catholic values into the classroom environment, promoting a sense of community and respect for others.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience or qualifications in food studies, culinary arts, or a related field.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students in the field of food studies.
- Proven experience teaching Food Studies at the secondary level, with a track record of fostering student success.
- Currently registered with VIT to teach in VIC - or be eligible to register with VIT.
- Are passionate about nurturing young minds
- Have experience in developing and delivering engaging programs for students
- Passion, energy, optimism, and a genuine interest in serving students and parents.
- Expertise in planning, implementing, and evaluating effective Food Studies programs that promote student engagement and passion in these areas.
- Visible leadership qualities within the school community.
